2024 Report to the Community

I’m happy to present our 2024 Annual Report to the community. This document marks the completion of our 2022-2024 Strategic Plan. Throughout the past three years, we’ve strengthened our organization and expanded our impact across Hamilton County.

This report is organized into the four areas of our strategic plan:

  • Guidance through life stages
  • Empowerment of people with DD, families, and staff
  • Community engagement and equitable access
  • Long-term sustainability of high-quality support

We’re proud of our accomplishments in 2024. Hamilton County voters renewed our five-year levy, which shows they value our mission and trust our work. We also secured another three-year state accreditation. This recognition is a testament to the quality of our services.

In 2024 we expanded our outreach. We worked with local schools and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to connect more families with essential resources. Events like our Advocacy Summit, Welcome Sessions, and Transition Night empowered people and their families to make informed choices about their support.

We partnered with the 513Relief bus to host the innovative Accessible Hamilton County event to our Kingsley office. This event brought a range of services directly to community members. We also hosted our first Employer Appreciation breakfast. The new event recognized businesses who are creating inclusive workplaces. And our Family and Children First Council Summit brought together local experts who are working to improve youth support services.

As we begin our new strategic plan in 2025, I am grateful to everyone who has contributed to our success. People with disabilities, family members, providers, our employees, and partners throughout our community are critical to our mission. Your commitment and partnership make real progress possible.

I invite you to explore this Annual Report and reflect on our shared achievements. Thank you for your continued support as we work toward creating a more inclusive and accessible Hamilton County.

Sincerely,

Leia Snyder
