1:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at the Xavier University Gallagher Student Center, Clocktower Lounge.

The 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence is coming soon! In honor of this upcoming historic event, the America 250-Ohio Hamilton County Committee invites you to join us for an inspiring afternoon of conversation, learning, and community connection.

Facilitated by Xavier University’s American Founding and Constitution Program and the America 250-Ohio Hamilton County Committee, this free event will bring together educators, civic leaders, students, and community members to explore how we mark this historic occasion — and what role each of us can play.

The afternoon will feature three sessions covering:

• The history of how Americans have celebrated major national anniversaries
• What local colleges & universities, nonprofits, government agencies, and community organizations are already planning
• How you and others can get involved and create your own events

The event will conclude with light refreshments and the chance to network with students, panelists, and other community members engaged in America 250 events across our region.

Registration is required.

HCDDS is not the host of this event, and details can change; contact the organizer to confirm.
