1-2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15, at California Woods Nature Preserve. 5400 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45230
Discover the history and mystery of maple sugaring! Visual supports and a social narrative will be provided.
In this family program, learn the history and mystery of maple sugaring! Learn how trees make their own sugar, then convert (invert, actually) that sugar, giving people the roadmap to the tasty treat we all know so well. We’ll tap a maple tree together, play a maple game, taste real maple sap right out of the tree, and learn how we turn that maple sap into delicious maple syrup!
Tickets are $10 each. Online registration required. Please visit the Cincinnati Parks website for all the details. Call 513-231-8678 for more information.
HCDDS is not the host of this event, and details can change; contact the organizer to confirm.
