9-11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Newport Aquarium. 1 Levee Way, Newport, KY 41071

Everyone should be able to enjoy a fun, inspiring, and comfortable visit to Newport Aquarium. Join us for Family Inclusive Sensory Hours when modifications are made to the visitor experience to create an accessible, safe, comfortable, and fun environment for all guests, including those with disabilities.

During Sensory Sensitivity Hours, lower capacities, no music, limited microphone use, and reduced lighting provide a sensory-relaxed environment for guests with autism, PTSD, dementia, anxiety, and other sensory sensitivities. Calming areas are provided, and noise-canceling headphones and fidgets are available at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis for borrowing during your visit. A sensory-level guide to touch, sight, and sound is provided.

Due to limited capacity for Family Inclusive Sensory Hours, it is recommended to purchase tickets online before your visit.

Order online today at NewportAquarium.com/SensoryHours.

HCDDS is not the host of this event, and details can change; contact the organizer to confirm.
