Event Details

Flying Pig Marathon Weekend

Friday, May 1, to Sunday, May 3.

This is the 28th Anniversary of the Flying Pig Marathon, an annual 26.2-mile race held on the first Sunday of May in Cincinnati, Ohio.

All registered participants will receive a technical shirt, a premium gift, a limited-edition poster, and a virtual goodie bag. All Marathon finishers will receive a medal, mylar blanket and finish-area refreshments. Finisher’s certificates will be available to download after the race.

Course Description

The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon is a beautiful course that “flies” along the streets of Cincinnati, Covington, Newport, Mariemont, Fairfax, and Columbia Township. It presents a well-balanced, diverse tour of some of the area’s best neighborhoods.

The course will close at a continuous pace of 16:00 minutes per mile. Anyone who cannot maintain the 16:00 minute-per-mile pace must move to the sidewalk as the course closes to allow regular traffic through. Runner services cannot be guaranteed for participants beyond the 16:00 minute-per-mile pace. Participants who do not reach the Frisch’s Mainliner between miles 17 and 18 by 12:15 p.m. will be bussed to the Eastern Avenue section of the course.
