Part of the 2023 Summer Music Festivals.

The Festivals of Evanston was founded by a group of neighbors from the East Walnut Hills and Evanston communities. The flagship event, 202One EvanstonFEST- A Day of Fun& Music in Evanston Park, was first held in 2021. This event allowed neighbors to enjoy the wonderful greenspace and fellowship while enjoying wonderful music in Evanston Park. This event was successful, and the committee moved forward to expand the festival series from one to five!

As they continue to work together on the music summer series, they decided to change the event name to be inclusive for ALL the collaborators. The new committee, Festivals of Neighbors, was chosen to pay tribute to the community partnership between East Walnut Hills and Evanston.  Details here.
