Project CARE’s monthly STARR Classes (Safety Training And Risk Reduction) is a systematic educational curriculum designed to teach individuals with intellectual, developmental, neurodivergent and/or mental health disabilities how to identify abuse, develop and maintain healthy relationships, and how to seek support when needed. Classes are facilitated by Project CARE management in cooperation with members of our Self-Advocacy Team.

May 28: Boundaries and Consent
June 25: Identifying Abuse and Seeking Support
July 30: Healthy Relationships
August 27: Public & Private
September 24: Communication
October 29: Decision Making
