Preparing for Graduation: Navigating Life from Ages 14-22
Noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 15, on Zoom.
Join experts from Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services, parents, and family members for a discussion of important considerations for school-age children from 14-22 years old. This session will include a walk-through of resources available in the newly created Life Stage Transition Guides as well as the opportunity for Q&A.
As you get ready for major transition times in your life or the life of a loved one with a disability, the information you find can be overwhelming. Sometimes it might be difficult to know where, or how, to start. The Life Stage Transition Guide is meant to help you get started by sharing some of the most important things to consider of life’s major transition times. We hope the information in the guide will help you decide what is important to you and your family, equip you to find the resources that are relevant to you, and help you feel confident as you plan for the future.
To attend this free session, RSVP below. A link to join the Zoom meeting will be provided in advance.
